Lisa Spiegel | IFS Institute


Lisa Spiegel received her BA from Vassar College, and has a Master’s degree in Developmental Psychology from Columbia University. From her three decades of working with adults and children she has developed an approach that draws from an eclectic array of disciplines. Lisa is a certified Family Systems Therapist, LifeForce Yoga practitioner, and a couples counselor from the Relational Life Institute. She is also trained in EMDR. In 2010 she learned about IFS and in 2017 she published the book “IFS Therapy with children”, contributing to the expansion of the model. She is the founder and co-director of the Soho Parenting Center in New York.  In addition to her clinical work she is on the Board of Directors of Healing Justice, a non profit dedicated to restorative justice.
